Industrial Complex: Starting off
Having made my Modular Terrain, I now needed some buildings to go on
it. After all, a ash-waste/city and muddy flats still look like a Billiards
Table if they don't have scenery on them. My first scenery tutorial will
explain how I built my Industrial Chemical Complex.
Materials
- Thick Cardboard (for the base)
- Thin Card (Cereal Packets are great)
- Lots of tubes of assorted sizes (Pringles Tubs are especially good for this with their metal base)
- Corks
- Bendy Drinking Straws
- Assorted bits that you can find in your bits-box to add as finishing touches
- Black and Silver paint (Spray paints make
it easiest with all of the pipes and bits on this piece)
- Extra paints for the fine details (The
colours of these paints are up to you)
- PVA Glue and Sellotape
Equipment
- Craft knife or Stanley Knife or Scissors (whichever
is easiest for the task)
- Paintbrush (if you are using liquid paints)
