Distaff: A group of Untouchables established and used by Inquisitor Eisenhorn
The firs member of the Distaff, and the later Lady-Commander, was Alizebeth Bequin, who Eisenhorn discovered on Hurbis.
Until the final events of Eisenhorn's pursuit of the heretic Pontius Glaw, the Distaff were based on the upper levels of spire eleven of the main hive on Messina Prime. The Distaff HQ was publicly known as the Thorn Institute.
No other organisation is know of that is similar to the Distaff. After Eisenhorn disappeared and his remaining Distaff member joined Inquisitor Ravenor's retinue, it is unknown whether another organisation like it will exist again.
