Although Games Workshop currently only support two main games, Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 as well as Inquisitor and Lord of the Rings, they used to make many, many more games and other items. Below is a list of all of the Games Workshop games and main books that have been made and based in the universe of the future. These items can sometimes be found in 'Charity Shops' in the UK for only a couple of pounds, or they can be found on auction sites such as eBay.

  • Warhammer 6th Edition - The newest edition of the game of Fantasy Battles. Most of the system is the same as earlier incarnations, but Magic has changed to a dice based system. The new edition has also backed away from percentages for army selection and instead limits you to numbers per type of unit (Lords, Heroes, Core, Special and Rare). The final major changes involve a new attribute called "Unit Strength". No longer will 5 Ogres count as being outnumbered by 6 Goblins! (October 2000 - Present)
    • Rulebook - A softback book sold separately to allow veterans to learn the new rules without having to buy the boxed set with models. A limited edition was also released in more durable hardback.
    • Boxed Game - Contains 35 Orc Warriors, 1 Orc Warboss on Boar, 1 Orc Chariot, 38 Empire Soldiers, 1 Empire General on Warhorse and a Great Cannon plus rulebook, cardboard and plastic building, dice and templates
    • Ravening Hordes - A "tie-you-over" list for all armies released so far to allow people to use their armies with a temporary list until their race's Armies Book was released. Given away free with White Dwarf on the release of Warhammer and later sold separately.
    • Armies Books:
      • Orcs and Goblins
      • Empire
      • High Elves
      • Chaos
      • Skaven
      • Dwarfs
      • Vampire Counts
      • Dark Elves
    • Dark Shadows - A campaign pack containing rules for Albion battles and new troops. Released for the "Dark Shadows - Battle for Albion" summer campaign.

  • Warhammer 5th Edition - With 5th Edition came the Lizardmen from Lustria and the return of the Bretonnians. The rules changed very little from 4th Edition, with rules clarifications being the main focus as well as some rules to enforce the spirit of the rules. The magic system was also overhauled, with many of the more ridiculous items being dropped and new and improved magic cards being released. (October 1995 - September 2000)
    • Boxed Set - Contains 20 Saurus Warriors, 32 Skinks, 12 Bretonnian Knights of the Realm and 24 Bretonnian Archers as well as card scenery, dice, play sheets, templates, roster pads and three books containing all the rules and painting ideas needed to get you started.
    • Warhammer Magic - An expansion supplement containing lots of Magic Items, new rules for Magic and magic decks containing the spells for each race's Magic Users.
    • Armies Books - All 4th Edition armies books were compatible with 5th Edition Warhammer, but the following were released during the time of 5th Edition:
      • Lizardmen
      • Bretonnian
      • High Elves
      • Vampire Counts
      • Dogs of War
      • Realms of Chaos - A boxed supplement containing the Chaos Armies Book as well as cards for mutations and other Chaotic items.
        • Champions of Chaos - All of the Chaos Special Characters in their own seperate book
    • Warhammer Siege - A book containing all the rules and details of equipment needed to fight either a siege battle or an entire siege campaign.

  • Warhammer 4th Edition - 4th Edition simplified the earlier versions of Warhammer. No longer would characteristics include Willpower, Cool and Intelligence as well as Leadership (all of which were generally the same and were just used for varying tests). The new Warhammer was now newer and faster, with less complications and a more enjoyable wime all round. (October 1992 - September 1996)
    • Boxed Game - Contained 32 Goblin Spearmen, 32 Goblin Archers, 20 High Elf Spearmen, 20 High Elf Archers, card scenery, templates and card 'Special Character' pieces, play sheets, dice and two books full of rules and characteristics, plus the "Battle for Maugthrond Pass" scenario booklet and a "Warhammer Armies" booklet covering all of the available races.
    • Warhammer: Battle Magic - The first of the magic supplements, introducing hundreds of cards for Magic Items and spells.
    • Warhammer: Arcane Magic - The second magic supplement containing yet more Magic Items and spells.
